GaluroBot, our crawler

GaluroBot reads websites for the Galuro service. It identifies itself in its requests as:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; GaluroBot/0.1; +https://galuro.com/bot)

It reads public pages — the home page, service and product pages and a few pages the home page links to — and robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt and, on WooCommerce shops, the public product catalogue. It submits no forms and does not go anywhere that asks for a password.

It visits when someone checks a site with Galuro — on our home page, in the account or in a review. Such a check it reads the way a visitor's browser does: the public pages, once per check, without looking at robots.txt.

Sites nobody asked us about — the competitors our clients follow, the companies on our own lists and in our niche overviews — it reads only as far as robots.txt lets GaluroBot, or every crawler, in: a page it is closed to it does not ask for.
